  Overleden: Services for Jeanne Marie Lasch, 54, of Fairmont, will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at the Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel in Fairmont. The burial of her ashes will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 26, 2008, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Jeanne passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Ingleside Inc. in Fairmont at the age of 54 years. Jeanne M. Lasch (Hassing) was born on December 27, 1953 in Winnebago, MN. She was the daughter of Jerome and Florence (Millmann) Hassing. Jeanne spent her childhood in the Delevan, MN, area and attended public school there. On August 16, 1980, Jeanne was united in marriage to Larry Lasch at the First Congregational United Church Of Christ in Fairmont, MN, by Pastor Lyle Norris. This union was blessed with two sons, Jacob and Jesse. After getting married, the couple resided in Fairmont. Theyshared 28 years of marriage before Jeanne passed away on December 23, 2008. When she was younger, Jeanne enjoyed going to dances with her sisters at the Fairmont American Legion. More recently, she enjoyed tending to her plants, canning pickles and things from her garden, and caring for her yellow lab, Lacey. Most important to Jeanne were her sons. She loved spending time with her family and watching Jacob and Jesse play in their hockey games. She and Larry met many people while watching the kids play hockey. She also enjoyed going to the state fair with her family and looking at all the baby animals. She found great joy in seeing babies and baby animals. Left to Cherish her memory is her husband, Larry Lasch of Fairmont; sons, Jacob and Jesse Lasch of Fairmont; mother, Florence Hassing of Fairmont; brothers, Pat Hassing and his wife, Deb of Winnebago, Dennis Hassing and his wife, Patti of Amboy; Sisters, Jeanette Nagel of Fairmont, Julie Kuehl and her husband, Tom of Winnebago, Jackie Wacholz and her husband, Scott of Aberdeen, S.D.; mother-in-law, Hermione Lasch of Seattle, WA; brother-in-law, Brian Lasch and his wife, Ginjer of Onalaska, WI; sisters-in-law, Lisa Brooks and her husband, Steve of Mesa, AZ, and Diane Lasch of Seattle, WA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jeannie is preceded in death by her father, Jerome Hassing.
